Lucia obtained a Bachelor of Arts with honors degree in 2002 from the Conservatory of Cuneo. After that she attended the “Accademia Superiore G.B. Pergolesi” (Biella) and she performed with the Youth Orchestra of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the Ladies Orchestra of Sofia, Lublin Orchestra, Zephyr Music Festival (S.Francisco-California), Mannheimer Chamber Orchestra, Filarmonica of Teatro Regio, Arena di Verona, Italy International Orchestra; she played in France, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, China, Malaysia,Thailand. From 2002 to the present she performed with the Orchestra Filarmonica di Torino both in the symphonic season, in domestic and international tours (France, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Germany…) and for recordings. In Turin, her home town, she played for ‘Piemonte in Musica’, ‘Settembre Musica’, MITO, ‘Unione Musicale’ and Antidogma Musica (Contemporary Music Ensemble). From 2011 she was regularly invited to the Catholic University of America and the Washington International Piano Festival.  

Also in 2007 Lucia received her second Bachelor Degree with full marks and mention of Honours from the DAMS University of Turin and she also worked with the Turin Theatre Foundation, Musica Practica and Bruno Mondadori Publishing House. In 2012 Lucia Marino obtained her second Doctoral Degree in clarinet with full marks and mention of Honours.

In 2015 she founded ESTEMPORANEA – Arte, Musica, Teatro. She is artistic director of SCENA 1312 Season (Bardonecchia), CONTAMINAZIONI Festival and Advanced Courses (Frabosa Soprana). She is also writer and producer of musical shows: Ti presento Carmen... , Rossini e il Barbiere, Cafè Express, La Razon de mi Vida – Il diario di Evita Perón, Tra le righe del Flauto Magico, Omaggio a Gershwin, Fantastiche: storie di donne ordinarie e straordinarie, Il salotto degli Strauss,…
